UGCNYC, est. 2015, was created with a vision of giving the people of Dyckman, NY the classic yet urban feel of what a true barber shop experience should be like. With the help of family and close friends, Christopher Joshua Falet's dream became a reality.

Now a days people have forgotten that being in a barber shop is more than just a hair cut. It’s where modern gentlemen can converse on a variety of topics of today. A BARBER IS YOUR CONSULTANT, THERAPIST, AND FRIEND. Growing up in the dyckman area there is a lot to learn therefore a lot of our younger clientele look up to us as role models. Our ultimate goal here at U.G.C.N.Y.C studio is to set a positive example and to steer our youth into the best direction in life we can and that is our biggest reward.

You’ll receive a haircut by the finest of master barbering. Vintage traditions are brought back with our famous straight razor shaves, including hot towel and facial massage and an urban twist with our freestyle designs and exclusive hairstyles.
